Our newest family members

Below you see White Dot, Black Dot, Fuzzy and Mohawk. We now have a farm in our garage with 4 baby chicks. While Andrew and Grant were sick all week we went to Grant and Andrews new favorite store "Curtis Landscape". ( because they have a nursery and animals running everywhere in the nursery and baby chicks) They have a new cage and matching feed bowls with their names on them. Grant rotates them in and out of the house in the evening in his hands upside down like he is handling legos or riding on his head. They now have some great hops and can fly a little so it is very interesting with chickens in the house.

I am done!

The backyard pool area. Well......I am not doing anymore anyways.

Can you believe it!

Deanna had to move her class room in the last week of school and she found these pictures. Time flies by too fast. I think this is December 2001. It is hard to imagine the family in the picture with Andrew so small and no Grant yet.

Fishing at Fry Mesa

This is a really cool lake 6.5 miles from town and nearly a 1 1/2 hour drive round trip. The road is so bad, but for fishing that is a good thing. Grant said, "We are so going to break down"!

The "rainbow trout fish" as declared by the boys. Wooo Hooo. They were so excited. Turns out that old fashioned worms were the best. We could have caught more but we would go on "hikes" and watch our bobbers from the hike and then race back when one went under. The race back on the trail was the best part. Our treble hooks were too small for the worms though and the fish ate alot of worms without getting caught. We want to go back. Notice Andrew's glove in anticipation of slimy fish. We ate the fish at Grandma's tonight. We now have more worms to add to Grant's worm collection in the fridge.

5:10 to Pima

On Monday, we took the 5:10 to Pima, Az. We had a train ride from Safford to Pima and back with a stop in Pima at Bush N Shurtz for some dinner along the "Salsa Trail". They had every salsa from every Mexican restaraunt in the Gila Valley. Grant loves salsa and chips so with every taste of a new salsa we heard, "Bam" from Grant with a big smile. They let the kids explore everywhere, even riding between the train cars while we were moving.
