Jacobs Classic Tournament

Our 10 year old All Star Soccer team (The Blitz) representing the Gila Valley won the Jacobs Classic Soccer Tournament this weekend in Tucson. We came from losing every game in the Fort Lowell Shoot out in February and playing as individuals to dominating all of our games this weekend and played as a team. They were disciplined passers and finished with no errors on throw-ins and such. They executed every play we had designed on corner kicks. I can't describe how they smashed the other teams with only 9 players. Most other teams have 10-14 players. By the end the tournament we were playing only on our opponents end of the field. We are emotionally done... and so proud of the kids.
